The mark that is impressed is ONLY WEDGWOOD, and NO ENGLAND or Made in England stamp, dating the piece before 1891. The Jasperware barrel in in very good condition with no chips or restorations. The inside is remarkably clean.
This is one of the best shape biscuit jars I've seen. Please check pictures closely as they are part of the description. There is much tarnish on the piece and it needs polishing or replating. I have left the silver plate EPNS lid and rim for you to polish so you can see the patina. Exquisitely beautiful, useful or decorative piece.
