WEDGWOOD Blue Jasperware 10pcs Tea for Two Set Teapot Sugar Creamer Teacups Bowl. Today we are delighted to offer for sale a beautiful vintage Wedgwood Blue Jasperware "tea for two" tea set! This elegant and classic service is a superb example of the artistry and craftsmanship of Wedgwood (founded in 1759 and still in business). The set is crafted of blue/lavender jasperware pottery with unglazed matte biscuit finish. The pieces all feature Adam/Neoclassical-style decorations of Grecian mythological scenes as well as frolicking cherubs, all done in contrasting white jasperware. The pieces are marked on the bottoms accordingly. The set is composed of 1 teapot+lid, 1 sugar+lid, 1 creamer, 2 teacups + 2 saucers, and one waste bowl (can also be used to sweetener packets). Set presents well and is in very good vintage condition, with minimal wear/scuffing and patina commensurate with age.
