This Wedgwood jasperware jug is dark blue in color and is decorated with sacrifice figures. It has greek key above the figures. The jug is 7 inches tall. The jug is marked Wedgwood and has an impressed S and a 24 on the bottom. We do not know what this dates but believe it is pre 1860 when the letter code system came into use. The jug has a hairline crack on the underside of the top of the handle and at the bottom. It is secure though and has not been broken off. There is what looks like a frit on the edge of the bottom and it may be original.
